As a Security Officer Full Time DoD Secret Clearance Required Patrol in ARLINGTON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense business location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
- Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
Pay rate: $26.27 per hour.
Schedule
Full-time position with the following shifts:
- Tuesday: 2:45 PM – 10:45 PM
- Wednesday: 2:45 PM – 10:45 PM
- Thursday: 2:45 PM – 10:45 PM
- Saturday: 10:45 PM – 6:45 AM
