As a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Working collaboratively with site personnel, you will respond to concerns and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site operations.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
