What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, employee, and contractor activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as required.
- Prepare accurate daily activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
