Security Officer Full Time Customer Service

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location in Saint Paul, MN. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. Use strong communication and customer service skills to address concerns and report security-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, surrounding property, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, sales areas, and high-traffic locations for unusual activity, policy concerns, and potential hazards.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
