About the role
As an Access Control Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location in West Memphis, AR, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access, and provide outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate clearly with visitors and personnel. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue access badges as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
- Control access for vehicles, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with established procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry to the property.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
