Security Officer Full Time CPR Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Florence, NJ, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document observations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations according to site requirements.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Pay

$18.74 / hour

• Thursday: 09:15 PM - 07:15 AM
• Friday: 09:15 PM - 07:15 AM
• Saturday: 09:15 PM - 05:15 AM
• Sunday: 09:15 PM - 05:15 AM
