About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, hospital policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and supporting a welcoming healthcare environment.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, escalating concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as appropriate.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Wednesday: 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
- Saturday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
- Sunday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
