As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Validation Patrol in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers.   • Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, including the building perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, loading docks, and access points.
  • Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and driver credentials as required, and document relevant activity according to site-specific procedures.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence, observing conditions during patrols, and reporting unusual activity or hazards to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
