About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Earth City, MO, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with reporting security-related concerns. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will help support a welcoming, orderly environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery or pickup documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and loading areas; document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity using required logs and systems.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading dock areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Monday through Friday
