Security Officer Full Time Patrol Badge Verification

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Patrol Badge Verification position in Salt Lake City, UT. This unarmed patrol role at a logistics and distribution location involves routine patrols, monitoring access points, deterring security incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, access points, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors according to site procedures, and report unusual activity
• Document incidents, patrols, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements

Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred
• Access control and badge experience preferred
• X-Ray screening experience preferred
• A Guard Card or license preferred
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour. Schedule: DayTime shifts, Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM.
