Security Officer Full Time

Location: Columbia, MO | Rate: $18.00/Hour

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation
• Conducting property tours/patrols
• Badging for employees and visitors
• Securing entrances and patrolling inside and outside the client’s premises
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
• Identifying and reporting safety issues or hazardous conditions
• Clearly and quickly reporting any suspicious activity
• Providing detailed written witness reports
• Providing outstanding customer service and controlling access for patrons, visitors, or vendors as required
• Monitoring CCTV and conducting patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Standard computer/technology skills
• Customer service background preferred
• Security experience a plus
• Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Ability to conduct patrols throughout shift
• Great attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout shift
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Willingness to participate in a background check process
