Security Officer Full Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following healthcare location protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and response activities accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements required by state or local regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.01 per hour

Schedule

Daytime – Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
