Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Emergency Support

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, badge verification, and access‑control procedures in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports on incidents, observations, and security‑related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

$22.23 per hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
