As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Emergency Management in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Working with integrity and teamwork, you will help promote a welcoming environment while responding professionally to evolving site needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including business operations, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or concerns to appropriate personnel in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• CPO is required.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay and Schedule

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $29.40 / Hour

Job Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
