About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Emergency Readiness in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders when needed.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Skills

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
