Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Response Driver in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable laws.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities; communicate relevant information to site contacts, supervisors, and responding agencies as required.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Wednesday: 05:45 AM – 06:00 PM
• Saturday: 05:45 AM – 06:00 PM
