Security Officer Full Time Alarm Response Driver

About the role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol a retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates.
• Conduct routine patrols, assist with access control and alarm response, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with appropriate site personnel and/or first responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, adjacent areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas; report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills
