Security Officer Full Time Access Specialist

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, offers rewarding careers that provide a sense of purpose. The role is a full‑time Reception Access Specialist in Burbank, CA, serving commercial‑real‑estate clients and other industries.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients by following site‑specific procedures and security policies.
• Serve as a professional front‑desk presence: greet visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and security‑related systems; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following emergency response procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating with building management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Guard card or license (preferred).
• Alarm panel experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

$19.65 per hour.
