Security Officer - Full Time Access Control

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Database in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Monitor access control systems, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control entry to authorized areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, loading docks, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter, to help identify unusual activity or access concerns.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay and Schedule
Pay Rate: $20.81 / Hour
Schedule: Day Time, Monday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Tuesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Wednesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Saturday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sunday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
