About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide clear communication and exceptional customer service. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment while supporting staff, patients, and guests. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, directing guests, and maintaining accurate visitor logs in accordance with facility policies.
• Monitor entrances, lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and communication systems; report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Support a welcoming healthcare environment by providing information, managing calls and deliveries, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
