As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming presence at a shelter location, supporting a secure and respectful environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You will manage access, observe activity, communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and help to deter incidents through a visible, service-focused presence. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, families, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, and maintain visitor sign-in records in accordance with location procedures.
  • Monitor access points, receive deliveries and phone calls, and communicate visitor or facility concerns to appropriate staff and/or emergency responders.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and assist with security-related administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.00 / Hour, weekly pay

Schedule

Full Time. Day Time shifts: Thursday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Friday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sunday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM.
