Security Officer Front Desk

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a healthcare location in Boston, MA, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for employees, visitors, and patients. You will manage access, monitor entry activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and reception protocols at a healthcare location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and authorization as required, and maintain accurate visitor logs and/or sign-in records.
• Monitor entry activity, respond to access concerns, and communicate security-related issues or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Answer telephone calls, provide general information and directions, and support a professional, welcoming front-desk environment.

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$24.00 / hour

• Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
