Security Officer for Warehouse Vehicle Patrol

As a Security Officer for Warehouse Vehicle Patrol in Santa Fe Springs, CA, this role provides reliable, consistent hours with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule, requiring a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: Pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Scale your hours up to 40 per week or back as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help control access to warehouse, shipping, receiving, and restricted areas.
• Observe inbound and outbound shipments, delivery activity, and vehicle traffic; document discrepancies and report suspicious or unauthorized activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy).
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
