Security Officer for a Downtown Knoxville Public Building

Downtown Knoxville – Fri 08:30–18:00, Sat 09:30–17:30, Sun 12:30–17:30, Mon 08:30–20:30. $15.00 per hour, paid weekly.

About the role

Employee will conduct foot patrols of a large public building downtown. This is a highly mobile post that requires the candidate to be on their feet most of the day, walking up and down staircases. The candidate will direct visitors and serve as a visible presence to maintain order.

Our Security Officers protect the industrial or commercial property of our clients against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry. Clients include Class-A office buildings, luxury residential properties, distilleries, Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, telecommunications firms, manufacturing/industrial factories, hospitals, and others.

Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous foot patrols of a large public building
• Direct visitors and maintain order through visible presence
• Protect client property from fire, vandalism, and illegal entry

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test
