As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with site personnel. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
