Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, members, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee traffic, and support loss prevention awareness by reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unsecured areas.
• Assist with closing and opening routines, crowd and line monitoring, and general presence throughout the location to help support an orderly environment for daily operations.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
