Schedule

Daytime – Tuesday 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM (fixed‑shift “anchor” shift). This assignment requires a six‑month commitment. Additional shifts can be picked up through the “Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift” program, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

How This Role Works

This part‑time position provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up extra shifts when it works for you. It is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and the opportunity to build up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out site‑specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity, property concerns, hazards, and other security‑related issues in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Consideration of qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
