Security Officer - First Shift
About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Access Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
