Security Officer Facility Entry

About the role

As a Security Officer Facility Entry in Lansing, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help support a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, greeting visitors, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain clear communication, and help deter incidents through a visible presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
• Report access-control issues, suspicious activity, and facility concerns according to site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.00 / Hour

Day Time: Monday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Tuesday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Wednesday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sunday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
