Security Officer Visitor Entry

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in alignment with access control policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Support shipping and receiving access operations by screening vehicles, confirming authorized pickups and deliveries, and maintaining accurate logs of arrivals, departures, and key site activity.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21 years old for armed roles.
• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
