Security Officer - Experienced Unarmed Patrol Risk Assessment

About the role
As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, offices, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
- Monitor access to the facility by checking visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals according to site procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and maintenance concerns in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Wednesday: 12:30 AM - 07:30 AM
- Thursday: 12:30 AM - 07:30 AM
- Saturday: 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM
- Sunday: 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM
