Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Risk Assessment

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and follow site procedures for visitor registration, escort requirements, and restricted‑area access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$21.53 per hour

• Monday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Thursday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
