Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.75 / Hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
