Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol

About the role
As an Experienced Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as automotive. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming, secure environment while responding to security-related needs with professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, assisting with access control and documentation as needed.
- Complete accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay
$17.33 per hour.
