What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, assisting with access control, visitor screening, and direction-giving while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support healthcare operations by communicating with staff regarding security-related concerns, assisting during urgent situations, and following Allied Universal protocols and site instructions.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
