Job Description
As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Duty in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Monitor assigned areas for access control issues, visitor-related concerns, and/or policy compliance, helping to support a professional environment for patients and healthcare personnel.
- Aid with security-related reports, incident logs, and shift communications, while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific expectations for an unarmed patrol post.
Minimum Requirements
- Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
