Security Officer Experienced Foot Patrol

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location in Florence, NJ, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Support a professional environment by observing and reporting unusual activity, property concerns, and policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badges.
• CPR certification.
• Customer service experience.

Pay

$18.54 per hour.

Schedule

• Full Time, DayTime
• Monday – Friday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
