What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and customer assistance practices within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support orderly operations, observe visitor activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Assist with closing procedures, crowd management, and/or lost and found or customer assistance situations while maintaining detailed activity logs and incident reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
