About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail and entertainment location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or guest assistance requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the entertainment venue, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points, crowd flow, and high-traffic guest areas to help support order, report policy violations, and/or assist with de-escalation when appropriate.
  • Support retail and recreation operations by observing for suspicious behavior, assisting with lost and found or directional needs, and communicating security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
