Security Officer Experienced Driver Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in De Soto, KS, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position also provides opportunities to deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site procedures, and document arrivals, departures, and security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicate with appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders, and complete required reports.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment and helping to deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$22.28 / hour
