What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed conditions, actions taken, and relevant follow-up information.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering and leaving the location, following post instructions and reporting discrepancies, damaged property, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Support security-related operations by communicating with site personnel, following established procedures for alarms and access control, and helping with order throughout busy shipping and receiving areas.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing Requirements

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
