About the role

As a Security Officer Entry Screening Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, log visitor and/or contractor activity, and report unauthorized access attempts or other security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and access points, remaining aware of changing conditions in an industrial environment.
  • Support vehicle and pedestrian screening processes, observe deliveries and/or restricted area access, and document daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
