Security Officer Driver Entry Screening

About the Role

As a Security Officer Driver Entry Screening in Cordova, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as logistics and distribution. This part‑time position allows you to build a flexible schedule and claim additional shifts through the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct delivery personnel to appropriate check‑in areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking lots, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and access‑related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state and/or local regulations.
