Security Officer Driver Entry Screening

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification, and other security-related policies appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for the facility, screen visitors and deliveries, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including entrances, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter access points, to help identify security-related concerns and unusual conditions.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
