Security Officer Entry Screening

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, and restricted areas by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with location protocols.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, unauthorized access attempts, and/or operational issues.
- Support day-to-day security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs, preparing incident reports, and following post orders related to alarms, access systems, and after-hours entry requests.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
