Security Officer Entry Screening

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access procedures, badge requirements, and other security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted and production-related areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Document visitor activity, deliveries, and/or contractor access, maintain required logs, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related issues.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
