Security Officer Entry Screening

About the role

As a Security Guard Full Time Entry Screening in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening individuals and items, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and support smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or packages in accordance with site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor activity and/or screening results as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the facility perimeter, loading areas, and parking locations, and report unusual conditions.

Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
