Security Officer Entry Screener

About the role

As a Security Officer Entry Screener in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will help maintain a secure environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and communicating professionally with employees and guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site access requirements and established protocols.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry to restricted areas within a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
