Security Officer Entry Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy distribution location.
• Perform screening activities for people, packages, bags, and/or property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and/or visitor information to help to deter unauthorized entry and support orderly site operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, operational issues, and/or security-related concerns within warehouse and yard areas.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
