What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, gate areas, parking locations, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance and/or security-related issues.
• Assist with vehicle and delivery access procedures, direct guests and/or vendors to appropriate check-in points, and support orderly traffic flow at the location.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
